Qonversion
Subscription analytics, paywalls, and purchase infrastructure.
Best for
- Subscription SDKs
- Revenue analytics
- Paywall experiments
Not good for
- Non-subscription apps with no purchase flow
Pros and cons
Pros
- The free tier reaches $10,000 in monthly tracked revenue and includes unlimited apps and seats, which is generous if you ship several small apps (checked July 19, 2026).
- Paid plans are 0.6% to 0.8% of revenue, lower headline rates than the 1% common elsewhere in the category (checked July 19, 2026).
- It bundles a customer CRM view alongside the SDK, so you can inspect individual subscriber state without building your own reporting.
- SDKs span iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, and web, so the same purchase layer carries across platforms.
Cons
- Key features such as A/B experiments and raw data export are gated to the Growth plan, so the low entry rate does not include everything.
- Entitlement logic runs through the SDK, which is a dependency you would need to replace to leave the platform.
- It is a smaller platform than some competitors, so third-party integrations and community examples are fewer.
- You still set up and maintain products in App Store Connect, so Qonversion does not remove that store configuration.
Qonversion is subscription infrastructure with revenue analytics, a customer data layer, no-code paywalls, and experiments for mobile apps. Its SDKs handle purchases and entitlements across platforms, and the dashboard adds analytics, a lightweight CRM view of customers, and paywall tooling. For a solo iOS developer, it is a middle-ground option: purchase handling plus data and paywall features without committing to one of the larger platforms in the category.
It fits apps that already sell subscriptions and want reporting and experiments in the same place as the SDK. If your app has no purchase flow, none of this applies. If you are comparing platforms closely, you will find it lines up feature-for-feature with RevenueCat and Adapty, so the decision often comes down to pricing and which dashboard you prefer.
Pricing
Qonversion has a free tier under a tracked-revenue threshold, then 2 percentage-of-revenue plans and a custom enterprise plan.
Qonversion plans (checked July 19, 2026)
| Plan | Price | What is included |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free up to $10,000 monthly tracked revenue | Subscription SDKs, basic analytics, the customer CRM, the no-code paywall builder, Stripe and Paddle, and unlimited apps and seats |
| Starter | 0.6% of revenue | Everything in Free plus advanced analytics, basic integrations, and webhooks |
| Growth | 0.8% of revenue | Everything in Starter plus Apple Search Ads, A/B experiments, refund handling, raw data export, and priority support |
| Enterprise | Custom | Everything in Growth plus custom pricing, a dedicated success manager, and priority technical support |
The percentage plans are billed on tracked revenue, and the free tier includes unlimited apps and seats up to the threshold. Pricing last checked July 19, 2026; confirm current numbers on the official pricing page.
Setup and integration
Qonversion provides SDKs for iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, and web, plus a REST API and webhooks. On iOS you add the SDK, define your products and subscription groups in App Store Connect, and map them to entitlements and offerings in the Qonversion dashboard. The SDK then reports entitlement state you check in code, and paywalls can be configured without a new release.
Expect standard subscription setup work. You still create products in App Store Connect and run sandbox purchases on a real device to verify the flow. One planning note: several capabilities you may assume are included, such as A/B experiments and raw data export, sit on the Growth plan rather than the free tier, so map the features you need to a plan before building around them.
Frequently asked questions
Is Qonversion free for a small app?
Yes. The Free plan covers apps up to $10,000 in monthly tracked revenue and includes the SDKs, basic analytics, and the no-code paywall builder, with unlimited apps and seats (checked July 19, 2026). Above that threshold you move to a percentage-of-revenue plan.
How is Qonversion different from RevenueCat?
Both are subscription infrastructure with analytics and paywalls. RevenueCat is free up to $2,500 monthly tracked revenue and then 1% of tracked revenue, while Qonversion is free up to $10,000 tracked revenue and then 0.6% to 0.8% depending on plan (checked July 19, 2026), so the pricing shapes differ even where the features overlap.
Which plan includes A/B experiments?
Experiments are on the Growth plan, which is 0.8% of revenue, rather than the free or Starter tiers (checked July 19, 2026). If paywall testing is central to your plan, budget for that tier.
